What is Tilt-Shift?
It’s a way of controlling perspective in photography. It can make big places feel small, or tiny models seem larger-than-life.
We’re tilting and shifting until we find the perfect angle.
Caleb Ramsey is co-owner and creative director at Tilt-Shift.
He used to say he wanted to grow up to be Indiana Jones, but as he grew up, he realized that what he really wanted was to be the guy making the movie.
Little has changed.
Caleb started making home movies in high school, and went on to study Radio, Television, and Film at the University of Texas at Austin.
He specialized in screenwriting and directing.
After college, Caleb found a new passion in broadcast news.
Photojournalism taught him to work fast, do anything for the story, and to appreciate a good Florida Man headline.
In 2018, Caleb joined a wedding video production company, where he honed cinematography and editing skills.
In 2020, Caleb and Taylor Soto tied the knot.
They met on Tumblr…
He, of course, edited their wedding video.
In 2024, Caleb and Taylor opened Tilt-Shift, a video production company specializing in weddings, documentary, and commercial video creation.
